so in the effort to defeat some of my defeatist mindset on creating (especially right now), I've been given the obligation to write pages every week for one of my stories. I have this insane digital filodex of all the things I want to make of all the unfinished projects. it's baffling to me all that I haven't done.
I picked one, and I'm trying not to bounce off of it. I'm want to do a lot of little things without committing to any specific one because of the lack of novelty - the biggest reason I'm doing this website. sometimes, I forget that my strongest skillset is writing. I think that's why I get so scared of doing it: if I'm bad at that, I must be worse at everything as a result.
it has given me an outlet to explore some ideas with the ongoing regime here in the united states. a lot of my stories reflect the micro vs macro and how we reconcile those things. this one's like that as well. of course, we'll see if it's any good. once I'm further along on the site and have more of it done, I'll tell you about it.
